Ultra-Drum Rack System

Polyethylene drum racks capture spills, keep your workplace clean and safe

Horizontal drums with a spout are ideal for dispensing liquids, but may cause spills due to gravity. Our spill pallets can be added to existing racks to prevent this issue. Alternatively, we offer complete systems that provide both the racks and spill containment for one, two, or four 205-litre drums.

Features

  • Ultra-Drum Rack Containment Systems offer a safe and environmentally sound means of dispensing from 205L drums, and horizontal drums.
  • Available in 1,2 and 4-drum configurations, the all-polyethylene designs eliminate rust and corrosion commonly found with metal drum racks.
  • Ultra-Drum Rack Systems improve worker safety by keeping slippery chemicals and oils off the plant floor.
  • Drum rack units keep drums slightly tilted forward to maximize dispensing.
  • The optional dispensing shelf provides a service platform for buckets, safety cans, and other containers.
  • Optional locator pins are installed in the bottom of the drum rack and into the grating of the pallet to keep racks from sliding and moving.
  • Benefit from the industry’s most robust warranty, offering five years of protection against any defects in material or workmanship.

FAQ

1. What is included with these Ultra-Drum Rack Containment systems?

1-drum system: spill pallet and one (1) 1-drum rack

2-drum system: spill pallet and one (1) 2-drum rack

4-drum system: spill pallet and two (2) 2-drum racks

 2. What about the spouts and drums and stuff?

The spouts, drums, buckets, etc that are pictured are just to help “tell the story” of how the product is used. They are not included.

 3. What are the drum rack containment systems made of?

The systems are 100% polyethylene.

4. How are drums loaded onto the racks?

Specialised drum loading/handling equipment is required. UltraTech does not supply or sell this equipment but it is readily available from many different material handling and industrial suppliers.

 5. Do the Ultra-Drum Rack Containment Systems meet the EPA’s spill containment regulations?

Yes, all of the systems meet the regulations.

6. What are the locator pins used for?

Locator pins (part# CHUT2391) come in a 2-pack and are used to prevent the drum racks from inadvertently sliding on top of the pallet. One end of the pin slides into the base of the drum rack, the other end of the pin will go through the grating.

7. Is there any kind of warranty on the Ultra-Drum Rack Containment Systems?

The systems are covered by a 5-year warranty.

8. Can the drum racks be stacked any higher than two highs?

No, two drum racks are the maximum number that should be stacked.

9. What type of drain is used for these pallets?

The standard drain is a threaded hole in the sidewall with a 19mm polyethylene plug with NPT threads installed.
