Absorbent Rolls

SpilMax® Absorbent Rolls are perforated pads that will tear off in custom sized sheets. These are ideal for use under vehicles and equipment during maintenance or refueling and to create set down areas for containers or leaking equipment.

These rolls of pads are manufactured from melt blown polypropylene. They have dimples and scrim for greater durability. They do not lint or tear easily. 

ABSORBENT roll types

Oil & Fuel Absorbents are white. They are hydrophobic and repel water. This allows for the absorption of oil and fuel without absorbing water itself. Ideal for indoor or outdoor use cleaning up spills on or around water. Choose these absorbents where hydrocarbons are the main and likely contaminant such as hydraulic hoses, fuel stores and marinas.

UniChem Absorbents are yellow and work as both a Universal absorbent pad and Hazchem absorbent pad to absorb a wider range of liquids. These absorbents will pick up water, oils, fuels, diesel, coolant, general workplace chemicals and common agricultural chemicals, oxidisers, acids and caustics. Since these absorbents also pick up water, they are not recommended for oil on water spills.

HEAVY DUTY 300GSM ABSORBENT rolls

Thicker pads at 300gsm offer a higher liquid absorption capacity than other weights of pads and wipes. The heavy duty weight is also tougher and more durable.

The SpilMax® range of absorbents have undergone extensive testing to ensure their absorbency and performance even when under extreme industrial use. Tested using the ASTM Test Method F726-06 “Sorbent Performance of Absorbents” to test maximum oil capacity.
