Intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), totes, and tanks are commonplace in manufacturing and other industries. Just like their smaller, 205 litre counterparts, these large vessels need spill containment to meet EPA and other environmentally based regulations.

The Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top, Steel Model provides enough containment capacity to meet the regulations while also providing strong and secure housing to protect hazardous and/or flammable contents from fire, heat, and unauthorised access.

1. What kind of steel is used to make the Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top?

The spill pallet is constructed of galvanised 14-gauge steel.

2. Will this spill pallet help meet regulations and stay in compliance?

Yes, the Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top is designed with enough containment capacity to help meet the EPA spill containment regulations

3. Why would I use a steel spill pallet instead of polyethylene?

The Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top, Steel Model has a weight capacity that is more than 907kg. higher than its polyethylene (LLDPE) counterpart. The steel pallet will also be able to withstand extreme temperatures and fire if that is a concern in the facility where the pallet is being used.

4. Can the grating be removed for inspection or cleanup?

Yes, there are two sections of grating and each can be removed to access the containment sump for periodic inspections or cleaning of spills.

5. What is the best way to move the Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top?

This pallet can be moved with a forklift or pallet jack and is accessible from all four sides. It should never be moved with storage containers inside.
