Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top Steel Model

Safely store tanks of flammable material outdoors and comply with regulations.

Intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), totes, and tanks are commonplace in manufacturing and other industries. Just like their smaller, 205 litre counterparts, these large vessels need spill containment to meet EPA and other environmentally based regulations.

The Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top, Steel Model provides enough containment capacity to meet the regulations while also providing strong and secure housing to protect hazardous and/or flammable contents from fire, heat, and unauthorised access.

Features

  • Storage and spill containment for one or two IBCs (intermediate bulk containers), tanks or totes.
  • Lockable doors provide secure storage and prevent theft and unauthorized access.
  • Heavy-duty steel construction (52 litres painted sump, 60litres galvanised top) provides years of service.
  • 100% leak-free tested.

FAQ

1. What kind of steel is used to make the Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top?

The spill pallet is constructed of galvanised 14-gauge steel.

2. Will this spill pallet help meet regulations and stay in compliance?

Yes, the Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top is designed with enough containment capacity to help meet the EPA spill containment regulations

3. Why would I use a steel spill pallet instead of polyethylene?

The Ultra-Twin IBC Hard Top, Steel Model has a weight capacity that is more than 2,000 lbs. higher than its polyethylene (LLDPE) counterpart. The steel pallet will also be able to withstand extreme temperatures and fire if that is a concern in the facility where the pallet is being used.

4. Can the grating be removed for inspection or cleanup?

Yes, there are two sections of grating and each can be removed to access the containment sump for periodic inspections or cleaning of spills.

This pallet can be moved with a forklift or pallet jack and is accessible from all four sides. It should never be moved with storage containers inside.
