Spill Pallets Overview

Spill pallets are essential tools for containing spills, leaks, or drips from containers holding hazardous materials such as chemicals, oils, or other liquids. They help prevent environmental contamination and ensure workplace safety by capturing spills before they can spread.

Types of Spill Pallets

  1. Drum Spill Pallets:
    • Design: Specifically designed to hold standard 200-litre drums.
    • Usage: Ideal for storing and handling drums containing hazardous liquids. They typically have a sump capacity to contain spills from the drums.
    • Features: Often include grates for easy drum placement and removal.
  2. IBC Spill Pallets:
    • Design: Built to accommodate Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs), which are larger than standard drums.
    • Usage: Used for storing and handling IBCs that contain bulk quantities of hazardous materials
    • Features: Higher sump capacity to handle larger potential spills from IBCs
  3. Hard Tops:
    • Design: Spill pallets with a hardcover or enclosure.
    • Usage: Suitable for outdoor storage, protecting the contents from rain, debris, and other environmental factors
    • Features: Roll-top or hinged covers that provide easy access while keeping the sump area clean and dry
